I believe Northwood deserves a stronger voice at City Hall — one that listens, understands residents’ concerns, and focuses on practical results.
As a Northwood resident, I see the same issues my neighbours see: roads and sidewalks that need attention, concerns about safety, rising costs, aging infrastructure, and the need to make sure our tax dollars are spent wisely.
These issues affect our families, seniors, businesses, and quality of life every day.
I believe City Council must stay focused on the basics, spend responsibly, plan for the future, and remain accountable to the people it serves. With that in mind, my priorities for Northwood are:

Finding efficiencies and reducing unnecessary spending
Carefully reviewing major projects and their long-term costs
Pursuing provincial and federal funding whenever possible
Greater transparency around how taxpayer dollars are spent
There will always be competing demands for limited resources. I will ask the tough questions, examine the numbers, and focus on affordability and long-term value.
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their neighbourhood, whether walking home, taking their children to a park, running a business, or simply enjoying their community.
Public safety requires cooperation between the City, police, service providers, community organizations, businesses, and residents.
I will advocate for:
Safe, clean, and well-maintained neighbourhoods and public spaces
Better lighting, pedestrian safety, and attention to problem areas
Strong cooperation between police, the City, and community organizations
Practical solutions that connect vulnerable people with appropriate services
Listening and responding to residents’ neighbourhood safety concerns
We can support people who need help while also protecting the safety and quality of life of our neighbourhoods.
Roads. Sidewalks. Drainage. Streetlights. Snow removal. Parks. Water and sewer infrastructure.
These services may not always make headlines, but they are some of the most important responsibilities of municipal government.
I will advocate for:
Maintaining and repairing existing infrastructure
Better long-term planning for roads, sidewalks, drainage, water and sewer systems
Prioritizing projects based on condition, safety, urgency, and community need
Reliable snow clearing and winter maintenance
Safe and accessible sidewalks and pedestrian routes
Clearer communication about projects, timelines, and delays
Good planning means taking care of what we already have, identifying problems early, and investing wisely before repairs become more expensive.
Good representation starts with listening and continues long after Election Day.
I will remain accessible, responsive, and accountable. I will listen to residents, communicate openly, bring Northwood’s concerns to City Hall, and ask tough questions before major decisions are made.
I won’t promise that every problem can be solved overnight. But I will listen, do my homework, work with others, and make sure Northwood has a strong voice at the table.
